I’m a Master of Science student at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism.
My mission: exploring the concrete jungles of NYC in 9 months.
My tools: a pen and a notepad.
My beat: East Harlem.
My lair: a nondescript window-barred first-floor coed dormitory.
I’ll share my adventures here occasionally via photos, but always via text. Glorious, glorious text.
P.S. I love feedback. Don’t hold back!

YOU are glorious, Mimi. I love reading about your adventures. Seems like we’ve both come a long way since our early years shirking Chinese homework?

hey evelyn, I think Russell told me once you’re doing journalism but I must have forgotten. Wish I read more earlier.
Quick question, if you don’t mind. I’m actually thinking of applying to Columbia for, surprise, journalism. I was wondering if you had a moment if you could just in a few words tell me what you think about the program.
